Driver (City) - Full-Time

Role Overview: This position involves operating tractor-trailer combinations to pick up and deliver freight between Service Centers and customers, supporting the sales process, and ensuring timely, safe transportation. Key Responsibilities Operate various truck types, including doubles, triples, and straight trucks.Perform daily safety and pre-trip inspections.Hook/unhook trailers and handle freight using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.Secure freight inside trailers and repair damaged cargo as needed.Complete required documentation, verify deliveries, and comply with hazardous material regulations.Communicate with dispatch, customers, and sales teams to coordinate pick-ups/deliveries and solicit additional business.May perform tire chaining, road driving, or dock duties when necessary.Adhere to all laws, regulations, and company policies. Qualifications & Skills Class A CDL with endorsements for doubles/triples, hazardous materials, and tanks; automatic transmission restriction allowed.At least one year of recent driving experience or completion of a driver development course.Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and compliance with DOT regulations.Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, perform basic math, and communicate effectively.Capable of working independently or as part of a team, with physical ability to sit, bend, twist, and climb in/out of trucks. Working Conditions: Driving in diverse weather and road conditions, exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and hazardous materials, with variable hours based on operational needs.
