Driver (CDL Passenger License Required) / Full-Time

About the role

Life Care Services is the premier provider of senior living in the nation. Our Sagewood location offers resort‑style senior living in the beautiful NE Phoenix valley, conveniently located near the 101, Mayo Clinic, restaurants, and shopping. As a CDL Driver with a P designation on the Transportation team, you will provide heavy customer service to residents, transporting them to events, appointments, and shopping, assisting with boarding and alighting, and interacting courteously with residents in independent living and the Acacia Health Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, customer‑focused transportation for residents to events, shopping, medical appointments, and other outings.
• Assist residents with getting in and out of vehicles, including those using wheelchairs or mobility devices.
• Operate cars, vans, and passenger buses safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload luggage, groceries, and other cargo.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on vehicles and keep them clean.
• Maintain accurate records of trips and vehicle inspections as required.
• Follow all safety protocols, including vaccination and compliance policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Arizona CDL with a P endorsement.
• Current Arizona Level 1 Clearance Fingerprint Card.
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and hospitality skills; always courteous.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist residents weighing up to 250 pounds using wheelchair or other devices.
• Good driving skills in various weather conditions, including wet or slippery roads.
• Ability to sit in a vehicle for up to six hours per day and perform stooping, bending, stretching, and squatting.
• Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends.
