Driver - CDL B
About the Role
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a CDL Driver (Class B) to deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites. This role involves driving a flatbed or roll-back truck in urban, suburban, and rural settings, including tight construction zones.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and recover equipment, tools, and supplies to/from customer worksites
- Drive flatbed or roll-back truck safely in various conditions including construction zones
- Load and unload tools and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues on-site
- Maintain accurate records with attention to detail
- Provide customer-focused service
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with Class B CDL certification
- Safe driving record
- Ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones
- Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors as required
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience driving, loading, and unloading tools or equipment (preferred)
- Mechanical skills to troubleshoot issues on-site (preferred)
- Customer service focused attitude (preferred)
- Detail orientation for record maintenance (preferred)
- Bi-lingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations

Pay
Base pay range: $26.46 - $39.68 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.

Schedule
Paid time off includes: 12-25 vacation days (depending on years of service), 5 sick days, 6 holidays, 2 half-day holidays, 2 floating holidays, 1 inclusion day, and 1 volunteer day. Steady hours with overtime potential.
