Driver - CDL

About the role

Regency Oaks Senior Living is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Driver to join their team. This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery stores, monthly outings, and extended trips as scheduled; assisting in performing housekeeping duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and delivers residents to all scheduled activities and appointments where transportation is needed.
• Completes a safety check of the applicable vehicle (i.e., car or bus) before transporting residents to and from scheduled activities and appointments.
• Accurately records vehicle mileage and resident attendance for all scheduled transportation.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out.
• Transports vehicles to service locations for routine preventive maintenance on vehicles as scheduled by supervisor.
• Notifies supervisor of necessary repairs and vehicle malfunctions.
• Immediately notifies supervisor of resident concerns, problems, or incidents.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid FL Drivers License.
• CDL required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintain a courteous, helpful attitude with residents.
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required.
