Driver CDL

Schedule

• Monday to Friday (4 or 5 days), starting between 2 PM to 4 PM or 2:30 AM, finishing when the work is done
• 8-10 hour shifts, 40 hours per week (overtime opportunities available)

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with procedures and perform regular safety checks of equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.) to guarantee safety
• Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records
• Perform all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch

Requirements

• CDL-Class A license with at least 2 years of proven safe driving experience
• Valid REAL ID driver’s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID (required for access to military base facilities)
• Preferred: Direct Store Delivery (DSD) experience
• Must pass drug test, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and background check
• FMCSA's Clearinghouse Registration required
• Minimum one year of safe driving experience with no serious driving convictions (DOT requirement to check the last 10 years)
• Familiarity with OSHA, DOT regulations, and local, state, and federal requirements
• Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation
• Proficiency in using a smartphone, electronic logging device (ELD), scanner, and logging deliveries
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures

Pay

• Hourly pay rate: $33.35
• Shift differential: $0.40 for all hours worked between 8 PM and 4 AM
