About the role

Local delivery driver position based in St. Louis. You’ll be behind the wheel in the morning and home in time for dinner, making an impact through deliveries within your own community. The role involves managing day-to-day product delivery routes, loading/unloading, utilizing a forklift, and assisting in the warehouse during delivery down-time. You’ll represent the company with every customer interaction, build relationships with customers, and contribute to an industry that provides safe, reliable infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or Class B vehicles for local deliveries
• Load and unload products using a forklift
• Manage delivery routes and adjust to changing customer priorities
• Assist in warehouse operations during down-time
• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Represent Core & Main professionally with every interaction

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Class A or Class B driving experience
• Flexibility to adjust to changing delivery priorities
• Commitment to driving safety standards
• Ability to load/unload products and operate a forklift
• Willingness to assist in warehouse operations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of flatbed driving experience
• Forklift certification
• 2+ years of delivery experience
• Prior experience with job site delivery and product handling
