Driver - CDL A (Nights)- Part Time
Job Summary
Gold Star Foods is seeking Class A drivers for their Pendergrass, GA location. Responsibilities include route deliveries to K-12 schools in Northern California, driving newer Peterbilt and Freightliner trucks, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintaining a clean driving record.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform route deliveries to K-12 schools in Northern California
- Drive newer Peterbilt and Freightliner trucks equipped with lift gates and both electric and manual pallet jacks
- Use a 2-wheel dolly for deliveries to locations without docks
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain a clean and accident-free driving record
Work Schedule
Monday–Friday Day Shift Start Times: 7pm until route is complete
Average: 45-55 hours in a 5-day work week
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Driver's License
- DOT Medical Certificate
- Benefits Motor Vehicle Record (10 years)
- Proficiency in driving tractor trailer
- Double endorsements
- TWIC card a plus
- Able to pass pre-employment drug, background screenings, and fingerprinting
