Driver - CDL A

About the Role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver and recover equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites. This role involves driving a Class A truck with flatbed or RGN (lowboy) trailers in various settings, including construction zones, requiring safe driving in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and recover equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites
• Drive a Class A truck with flatbed or RGN (lowboy) trailers in urban, suburban, and rural settings
• Navigate safely in tight spaces, such as construction zones
• Troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicles at job sites

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s license with CDL License and acceptable driver's record
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior training and/or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred
• Experience driving flat-beds, RGN/lowboy, or dovetail trailers

Qualifications

• Customer service attitude
• Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors as required

Skills

• Safe driving skills in various settings
• Basic equipment and vehicle troubleshooting and repair skills

Pay

Base Pay Range: $29.77 - $44.66. Starting rate may vary based on factors including position, location, education, training, and experience.

Schedule

Eligibility for benefits begins on the first of the month following 30 days from the start date. Paid time off includes:
