About the Role
The Bellperson/Driver greets and registers guests, provides prompt and courteous service, and ensures the guest has an exceptional stay to meet the hotel’s high standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Use a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to understand requests, respond with appropriate action, and provide accurate information such as outlet hours and local attractions.
- Transport guests to and from the hotel using the designated shuttle/van.
- Assist guests by lifting and carrying guest baggage on and off the shuttle van, to room, or in bell closet as needed.
- Provide information and respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, attractions, directions, etc., to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Report any needed repairs and/or service of the shuttle/van.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance (specific standards outlined in team member handbook).
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby, atrium, and other hotel areas when needed.
- Perform any related duties as requested by supervisor/manager.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
- Ability to walk, talk, stand, sit, stoop, and drive.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 75 lbs. regularly.
