About the Role

Join Mattress Firm and play a vital part in helping people sleep well by ensuring the final step of the Mattress Firm shopping experience goes smoothly. In this warehouse role, you will prepare, load, and deliver products while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of product to ensure timely service.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo.
• Operate a truck (over 3 tons) to transport cargo to and from specified destinations.
• Obtain client and customer signatures as acknowledgment of delivered products.
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring proper set-up and removal of old products safely.
• Maintain contact with router to receive delivery or pick-up instructions.
• Follow delivery driving routes and time schedules.
• Maintain logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, report findings, and conduct routine maintenance.
• Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to due dates.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
• Adhere to Company policies, standards, and brand representation.
• Assist in warehouse duties when necessary, including safe and timely transfer of products between store locations.
• Assist store personnel with material movement.
• Execute company initiatives and other activities as requested by supervisors.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Contribute ideas to optimize or improve the team, department, and Company.

Requirements

• Lift or move over 100 pounds.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, and use of hands and fingers.
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Good vision to ensure safety.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Valid Driver’s License (required upon hire).
• Valid and updated Medical Certificate (required upon hire).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Pay

Competitive pay range of $23–$24.50 hourly, based on documented and verified relevant work experience. Additional bonus opportunities may be available at the Company’s discretion.
