About the role

Hertz Local Edition is seeking professionals to drive our vehicles to various locations while providing our best in class customer service. As a Driver you will pick up and drop off customers and deliver vehicles from the Hertz Local Edition office to various locations.

Responsibilities

• Transports vehicles from Hertz Local Edition offices to various locations.
• Picks up and drops off customers as required.
• Interfaces with vendors such as body shops, dealerships, and insurance agents.
• Maintains courteous and professional behavior and appearance.
• Follows all company safety policies and procedures and protects company assets.
• Works with minimal supervision while maintaining high energy.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility in scheduling which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in a related field.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Satisfactory driving record.

Pay

• Hourly rate: $16.90.
• Overtime Pay: Eligible (paid in accordance with federal, state, and local laws; approval required prior to use).
• Holiday Pay: Eligible (1.5× regular pay rate for hours worked on a designated holiday, plus 8 hours of holiday pay).
• Sick Pay: Up to 40 hours granted.
• Paid Time Off / Vacation / Paid observed Holidays: Accruals start at 0.83 days per month, plus 4 floating holidays and 9 paid observed holidays.
