This role involves specialized warehouse tasks, including loading, unloading, order fulfillment, shipping, returns, forklift operation, fabrication, counter work, and occasional customer deliveries. You may operate a company vehicle (10,001–26,000 GVW) during the workweek. An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and negative drug test results are required.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, sort, pick, stock, stage, fabricate, and transport goods.
- Carry heavy merchandise (50–300 pounds) up and down stairs using body straps or a furniture dolly.
- Verify items against purchase orders and packing slips; report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- File orders for delivery and store supplies and equipment properly.
- Operate forklifts or other machinery to complete tasks.
- Drive company vehicles to pick up stock or deliver materials (non-CDL).
- Serve as an emergency backup driver when needed.
- Inspect vehicles and supplies to ensure road safety.
- Prepare and maintain records in accordance with company policies.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Work Environment
- Typically located in a comfortable environment with exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
- Requires intermittent physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting heavy or awkward materials (50+ pounds).
- Overnight travel is less than 10% of the time.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Valid Driver’s License from state of residence.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures, requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
Pay
For Nevada job seekers, the pay range is $17.75–$23.00 per hour. This range is based on market data and internal pay practices. Individual base pay is determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.
