Driver Applicator

Responsibilities

• Provide application requirements in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Respond to and serve customers courteously and efficiently
• Maintain a quality and professional image with customers
• Obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Obtain and maintain state commercial applicator certification
• Perform daily equipment inspections and post-application inspections
• Apply correct labeling, decals, and DOT numbers to equipment and tanks
• Keep appropriate logs updated
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
• Follow regulatory guidelines for tank mixing, rinsing, and washing
• Assist with various duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license to meet a Motor Vehicle Review in accordance with Company policy
• High School graduate or equivalent; may be offset by relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license; must be able to meet a Motor Vehicle Review in accordance with Company policy
• Obtain and maintain required state commercial applicator certification as required by state
• 3+ years of experience in the agriculture industry or other related industry preferred

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Proficiency in job and behaviors that align with GreenPoint Ag Core Values
• Basic mechanical skills for daily maintenance of equipment
• Ability to communicate with associates and customers
• Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation
