About the role
The Driver 3 position offers daytime work hours, allowing you to be home at night and on weekends. We utilize liftgates and electric pallet jacks, reducing the need for manual labor. This role involves various driving assignments, interacting with volunteers, partner agencies, donors, and the general public.
Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles, including food trucks, vans, and CDL-required tractor-trailers.
- Pick up and deliver donated food products to agencies and mobile pantry sites.
- Unload and distribute food products at agency partners or mobile pantry sites, ensuring proper setup and cleanup.
- Manage Mobile Pantry operations, including pallet breakdown, waste disposal, and recycling, adhering to Food Bank of the Rockies and Feeding America standards.
- Maintain Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and perform light vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Communicate with transportation, warehouse, and receiving teams regarding deliveries and donations.
- Avoid missing necessary supplies and equipment needed for the job.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including record-keeping, waste, inventory counts, sanitation, and equipment, building, and grounds maintenance.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 21 years old.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with an excellent driving record.
- Experience working with low-income communities preferred.
- Prior mountain driving experience preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment strongly preferred.
- Forklift experience and certification a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Pay
This role is considered full-time, non-exempt, working approximately 40 hours per week and is eligible for overtime for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
Schedule
Expected work hours are 6am-2:30pm, with work schedules varying each week and consisting of weekdays, occasional evenings, and occasional Saturdays.
