About the Role
The Driver - Class A plays a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of events by safely transporting equipment between warehouses, venues, and customer locations. This position is responsible for ensuring on-time deliveries, maintaining compliance with transportation regulations, and supporting operational excellence through strong teamwork, communication, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport equipment to and from warehouse facilities, event venues, and customer locations.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in accordance with company and DOT requirements.
- Maintain a clean driving record and operate company vehicles safely and professionally.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of all assigned shipments and equipment.
- Complete required logs, inspections, and transportation documentation accurately and on time.
- Communicate shipment status and transportation activities with warehouse, operations, and event teams.
- Support warehouse operations and equipment handling as needed.
- Promote teamwork, safety, and operational excellence across all departments.
- Assist with training and mentoring team members when required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Class A CDL license in good standing.
- Minimum one (1) year of commercial driving experience required.
- Experience transporting event, production, or commercial equipment is preferred.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid Driver’s license for vehicles 26,000 pounds and less.
- Must have or have the ability to obtain Department of Transportation Medical Certificate.
Travel Requirements
Travel more than 75%.
