Responsibilities

  • Cooking beverages and managing quality activities and operations to meet objectives for quality, food safety, integrity, regulatory compliance, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction at KanPak.
  • Participating in formulating and administering division's short and long-range goals and objectives for business growth.
  • Operating a Diesel-Powered Tractor Trailer.
  • Applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
  • Inspecting trucks for defects before and after trips.
  • Maintaining driver log according to DOT regulations.
  • Adhering to company rules and regulations.
  • Maintaining compliance with KanPak/GSF Code of Business Conduct, policies and procedures, management systems, and all applicable Environmental, Health, Safety and other regulations.
  • Acting according to KanPak’s Creed & Values.

Required Qualifications and Knowledge

  • Must have a valid Class A CDL license.
  • Driving record must meet KanPak policy requirements.
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as directed by the business.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull 50 pounds.
  • As required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, commercial drivers must read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public, understand highway signs and traffic signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries in reports and records.

Competencies/Job Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with a WMS/IC process.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely, with certification where required.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management, order fulfillment, and documentation.

  • Open/close both roll and swing doors on trailers.
