Drinking Water EIT/Coordinator
About the role
We'll count on you to assist in developing detailed designs of water focused systems under instruction of a Project Engineer and/or Project Manager. You'll also prepare plans, write specifications, develop analysis and study-level reports, and review construction submittals. Additionally, you'll collect, organize, analyze, and interpret complex data from multiple sources. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, determine appropriate design methods and equipment sizing and selection, and collaborate within a design team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing detailed designs of water focused systems under instruction of a Project Engineer and/or Project Manager
- Prepare plans, write specifications, develop analysis and study-level reports, and review construction submittals
- Collect, organize, analyze, and interpret complex data from multiple sources
- Determine appropriate design methods and equipment sizing and selection
- Collaborate within a design team
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
- Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
- Master's degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering or equivalent field
- Bluebeam software experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- Interest or experience analyzing and designing water focused systems
- Experience with production, simulation, and automation such as BIM systems, numerical modeling platforms, and other production tools
- Microsoft Office experience
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, determination of appropriate design methods and equipment sizing and selection, and collaboration within a design team are essential.

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
