Responsibilities
- Aids in operation of drilling rig and support equipment
- Maintains tooling, preps for assignments, sets up tooling, samples equipment, samples, classifies samples, and cleans up
- Loads and unloads equipment/tooling
- Assists on the working floor - performs normal drilling procedures
- Fulfills safety regulations
- Performs material inventory as needed/assigned
- Upholds F&R mission statement and Core Values in all aspects of work
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Degree or GED required
- CDL preferred or able to obtain after employment
- Willing to travel and stay out of town if needed on some occasions
- Able to solve problems with poise and control
- Basic math skills
- Good customer relations skills
- Punctual and dependable
- Willing to work on a team or independently when needed
- Willing to participate in and pass F&R’s pre-employment screening including a background investigation, drug screening, and driving record verifications
- Able to drive company vehicle in accordance with F&R’s Vehicle Fleet Safety Policy
- Submits to and passes DOT screening requirements at hire and for duration of employment
- Able to lift heavy tooling (approximately 50-75 lbs) repetitively and perform laborious work daily
- Able to stand, walk, and bend frequently
- Able to push, pull, and reach above shoulder occasionally
- Able to squat, kneel, crawl, and climb as needed
- Able to work in environments containing dust, fumes, and chemicals
- Able to drive to and from work sites, must have valid driver’s license with good-standing driving record
- Able to travel overnight (up to 65% or more)
