Drill Bit Repair Technician
Primary Responsibilities
- Aid in basic production requirements, including operation of off-hand die grinders, blast equipment and general bit movement.
- Gain initial understanding of repair process to assist more senior operators as needed.
- Operate pressure washer to clean bits, breakers and boxes from field locations.
- Operate the OD Grinder and/or centerless grinder as necessary.
- Apply proper painting schemes for completed bits, inspecting nozzle geometries for proper fit.
- Complete all applicable paperwork.
- Apply dye-pen as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED preferred, or repair experience may be substituted for education.
- Adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements.
- Work hours are identified by the manager.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and 15 lbs. at least 25 times in repetition is preferred.
- Proficient communication in the English language is required.

Qualifications
