Responsibilities
- Assist in basic production requirements, including operation of off-hand die grinders, blast equipment and general bit movement.
- Develop initial understanding of repair process to assist more senior operators as needed.
- Operate pressure washer to clean bits, breakers and boxes from field locations.
- Operate the OD Grinder and/or centerless grinder as necessary.
- Apply proper painting schemes for completed bits, including inspection of nozzle geometries to ensure proper fit.
- Complete all applicable paperwork.
- Apply dye-pen on product as required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred OR repair experience in lieu of education.
- Adheres to HSE requirements.
- Working hours identified by manager.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and 15 lbs at least 25 times in repetition preferred.
- Must be able to communicate proficiently in the English language.
