Responsibilities
- Assist in basic production requirements, including operation of off-hand die grinders, blast equipment, and general bit movement.
- Develop an initial understanding of the repair process to assist more senior operators as needed.
- Operate pressure washers to clean bits, breakers, and boxes from field locations.
- Operate the OD Grinder and/or centerless grinder as necessary.
- Apply proper painting schemes for completed bits, including inspection of nozzle geometries to ensure proper fit.
- Complete all applicable paperwork.
- Apply dye-penetrant on product as required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, or repair experience in lieu of education.
- Adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements.
- Work hours identified by manager.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and 15 lbs at least 25 times in repetition preferred.
- Proficient communication in the English language.
