Drain Service Technician
The Drain Service Technician position at RK Mechanical is responsible for performing a wide range of plumbing activities for industrial and commercial clients. This role involves ensuring that MEP services meet customer requirements, performing drain service activities, diagnosing and troubleshooting drain systems, coordinating with the Customer Services department, and assisting in pricing.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure MEP services meet customer requirements.
- Perform drain service activities, including diagnosis and troubleshooting of all industrial, commercial, and residential drain systems.
- Perform planned maintenance tasks as prescribed.
- Clean and maintain all RK Mechanical owned drain service equipment.
- Make service-related decisions in the best interest of the company.
- Follow up on callbacks and complete jobs.
- Aid in lead referral development for the Sales Department or Service Writer.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of previous experience in a similar role.
- Skilled specialist or recent college/university graduate.
- Requires judgment or initiative in resolving issues and making recommendations.
- Supervision and guidance of crews.
Physical Requirements: Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy, and hazardous areas. Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces, and/or other adverse locations. Must have the ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
