Responsibilities
- Convert rough sketches, calculations, and specifications into detailed technical drawings
- Prepare plans, layouts, and detailed drawings for projects
- Collaborate with surveying professionals to ensure the feasibility and accuracy of designs
- Make necessary adjustments to drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations in all drawings
- Maintain organized records and documentation of all drawings and revisions
- Stay updated on the latest drafting and design software and techniques
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver drawings within specified deadlines
Requirements
- Associate degree or certification in drafting, engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of surveying principles
- Experience in land surveying or civil engineering industry is a plus
