Responsibilities
- Provide quotes and estimates for resale products and custom precast structures
- Create detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for custom precast concrete products
- Develop rebar layouts by coordinating with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or utilizing internal design software based on project requirements
- Create standard manhole drawings using Titan precast software
- Prepare customer drawings, production drawings, and revisions as needed
- Cook up with engineering, production, and project management teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule
- Ensure drawings meet project standards and civil engineering specifications
- Create purchase orders for materials and project-related items
- Communicate with customers throughout the project lifecycle regarding timelines and completion schedules
Requirements
- Strong CAD skills
- The ability to accurately interpret and visualize how a three-view drawing should be translated into a finished product
- Strong spatial reasoning and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to think critically, identify inconsistencies in plans, and develop practical design solutions that work in real-world applications
