Drafter/Designer

Our client is seeking Drafter/Designers for an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity. The Drafter will prepare clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings, with a solid understanding of energy industry drafting techniques and engineering terminology. Specialization in 2D & 3D AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage in professional development and champion company goals and processes.
• Participate in QA/QC to ensure consistency within the department.
• Work with project teams to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
• Clearly convey design philosophies, expectations, and timelines.
• Collaborate with the Project Drafting Lead to complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Create and set up CAD files while adhering to drafting standards.
• Self-check drawings and models prior to delivery to the Project Drafting Lead.
• Generate project deliverables using Adobe Acrobat.
• Work within estimated time constraints provided by the Project Drafting Lead.
• Maintain and improve technical and professional abilities.
• Treat all company and customer information confidentially.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on drafting experience.
• Specialization in 2D & 3D AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
• High level of organizational skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suites.
• Strong communication skills and proactive approach to skill development.
• Ability to perform well in both individual and team environments.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and manage tight deadlines for multiple projects.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and a self-starter mentality.
• Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry practices and standards.

Pay

$28.00 – $38.00 per hour
