Drafter/CAD Operator I
About the Role
Supports multiple government customers. GDIT offers a hybrid work week, 401K with company match, comprehensive health and wellness packages, and internal mobility support.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and coordinate project activities with internal team members
- Prepare drawings from engineering and/or field markups for designers and engineers
- CAD for projects
- Affiliate with the Shipboard Installation Planning Team to complete drawing trackers in excel
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Experience: 0-2 years of related experience
Qualifications
- Knowledge of 2D CAD
- Able to read structural and electrical drawings
- Able to create CAD drawings from hand sketches
- Proficient use of office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
