ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with customers on various project designs and layouts.
- Complete the configuration of standard, special, and custom cabinetry products using Auto Cad.
- Implement drafting standards to complete Auto Cad drawings.
- Create, revise, and maintain Auto Cad drawings in a timely manner.
- Analyze, plan, and complete projects in accordance with detailed specifications.
- Ensure designs incorporate all applicable codes and regulations.
- Ensure project information is communicated to all necessary departments accurately and timely.
- Develop and complete casework and mixed furniture design projects with little guidance.
- Perform independently to effectively manage projects with minimal oversight.
- Provide guidance to team members on technical issues related to installation or construction.
- Create casework submittal drawings.
- Work with the Sourcing Specialist to secure new hardware items for custom products.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Experience and/or Training: 1 year of related work experience.
- 1 year of experience reading and understanding architectural specifications and plans.
- 1 year of experience with Project Management.
- Technology/Equipment: Familiarity with Auto Cad.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Associate’s degree in Drafting related field.
- Experience and/or Training: 2 years of related work experience.
- Technology/Equipment: Familiarity with Revit, and other technologies used in the Engineering field.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
- Sitting for long periods of time, 6-8 hours per day.
- Walking, speaking, hearing, and seeing.
- Listen and observe the environment for hazard prevention.
- Use hands for tools and typing.
- Semi-frequently lift up to 15 lbs.
- Sometimes bend, stoop, twist, and turn.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Indoor office working environment.
- Office is temperature-controlled all year round.
- Minimal hazards identified.
