Responsibilities
- Prepares drawings relative to project requirements and/or deliverables as directed by designers.
- Responsible for making revisions to existing drawings, for all disciplines, per markups furnished by engineering or designers.
- Capable of making site visits to help designers and engineers gather field information.
- Develops an understanding of drawings for all disciplines.
- Develops an understanding of project responsibilities with respect to specific task deliverables.
- Develops an awareness of the project schedule and budget.
- Team player and willing to assist other staff.
- Promote safety in all aspects of involvement.
Requirements
- Successful completion of Drafting from an accredited institution.
- Familiar with a professional office work environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and a solution advocate.
- Punctual, willing to work extra hours.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Preferred Experience
- AutoCAD, Plant 3D.
- Previous Electrical & Instrument experience.
- Intern or previous experience in the Petrochemical industry.
