Drafter
About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Interpret sketches, specifications, and engineering designs to produce accurate drawings.
- Revise and update drawings based on project requirements and feedback.
- Maintain drawing records and documentation in accordance with company standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure design accuracy.
- Affirm that all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, layouts, and submittal packages.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Drafting, Design Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of AutoCAD drafting experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with Revit, SolidWorks, Civil 3D, or other CAD software is a plus.

- Knowledge of drafting standards and industry best practices.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, architecture, engineering, or related industries.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
