Draft Beer Service Tech
About the role
Join our team as a Draft Service Technician (DST) and enjoy nights and weekends off while learning from the best in the beer industry. You’ll visit great bars and breweries daily, with ample opportunities to grow within the beer industry. Our mission is to provide great-tasting draft beer to consumers exactly as the brewmaster intended, while driving draft beer sales.
This hands-on, mechanically focused role includes ongoing training, tools, and resources to ensure your success. Strong customer service skills are essential, as you’ll communicate directly with customers about installations, timelines, and route coverage.
Responsibilities
- Assist with route coverage, including AM accounts and venues, as needed.
- Perform quarterly preventive maintenance (PM) contracts.
- Attend facilities to become Micro Matic certified if requested.
- Participate in additional training assigned by AHFP.
- Train and collaborate with other employees.
- Maintain professional relationships with assigned accounts, sales representatives, and draft tech department personnel.
- Manage equipment care, maintenance, and inventory of assigned tools.
- Adhere to AHFP policies for the draft service tech vehicle.
- Perform additional duties such as line cleaning and other non-billable services based on market demands.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of draft beer systems (preferred but not required).
- Mechanically/technically inclined (preferred but not required).
- Results-driven and self-motivated.
- Cicerone certification is required for all current AHFP employees.
- 3 years of experience in related industries; draft beer industry experience preferred.

Pay
Starting salary up to $20.00/hour.
Schedule
Standard working hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Hours may vary and may include evenings or weekends based on business needs.
Travel
Travel may be required within AHFP's regional footprint, typically limited to weekdays.
