Dozer Operator

Job Responsibilities

• Operate Dozer and other heavy equipment
• Ability to operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency and in challenging and unique terrain environments.
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
• Perform daily pre-and post-inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Effective communication skills applicable to position.
• Properly follow all company policies MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in finish grading
• Required! Individual must be dedicated to working safely at all times
• Experienced working with GPS control required or 3 years finish grade
• Free-Hand Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and nights when necessary
• Team player
• Valid driver’s license

• Use both hands and feet at the same time
• Work in an environment with noise levels that may require hearing protection
• Able to use mechanic’s hand tools and tape measure
• Able to crawl and climb on, over, under and inside construction equipment
• Lift and carry objects and materials of various weights up to 100 pounds
• Good vision, both close-up and long-distance, and ability to look forward, side to side, and toward the rear of equipment
• Must have good reliable transportation to make it to and from work
• Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as needed
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises
• Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration requirement
• Must be Drug Free and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and possess a Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record

Pay

$25.00/hr, starting wage based on experience.

Schedule

Fulltime/Permanent Day Shift

Weekend work may be required
