About the role

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report activities and incidents at the assigned client site to ensure the safety and security of personnel and property.
• Conduct regular foot patrols and complete scans.
• Maintain order and enforce site-specific regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the premises.
• Secure premises by inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Perform tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years of U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 2300–0700 (40 hrs.)
• Thursday–Monday, 1500–2300 (40 hrs.)
• Saturday 0700–1500, Sunday–Wednesday 1500–2300 (32 hrs.)

Pay

Up to USD $19.00 per hour.
