Downstream Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all downstream equipment to meet or exceed company established Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) expectations and customer quality expectations.
• Follow Lock out / Tag out policy.
• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when entering the production area.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) when entering the production area.
• Safe operation of all fire extinguishers.
• Proactive in addressing unsafe conditions on production equipment.
• Report all unsafe acts or conditions to Shift Production Supervisor immediately.
• Utility knifes will not be used on the production floor.
• Participate in safety training as scheduled and provided by the company.
• Obeey all machine guards and safety warnings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred and should successfully complete the entrance examinations and interviews.

Skills

Our Downstream Operator should possess a sense of urgency, accountability, business ethics, professionalism, self-motivation and the desire and focus to improve the business.
