About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal .NET Developer to join our remote team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems built on Microsoft technology stacks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on backend services using C# and .NET Core, complemented by proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Web API
• Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React
• Strong SQL Server skills, including stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Experience deploying applications on Azure or AWS cloud platforms
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and DevOps practices
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and system architecture
• Familiarity with microservices, service-oriented architecture, and distributed systems
• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills
• Experience working in large enterprise environments with high standards for security and reliability

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise web applications and distributed systems
• Create secure, high-performance backend services using .NET Core and ASP.NET Web API
• Implement scalable architecture patterns, including microservices and event-driven workflows
• Develop modern, responsive front-end applications ensuring optimal user experience
• Optimize relational database schemas, stored procedures, and queries for performance and maintainability
• Produce detailed technical design documentation aligned with enterprise standards
• Participate in system design discussions, ensuring adherence to architecture constraints and technology roadmaps
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and identity management services
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently while minimizing downtime
• Identify architectural gaps and technical debt, proposing improvements with measurable benefits
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams through planning, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, APIs, and operational procedures
