Hourly Rate: $26.49 per hour

About the role

The DOT Truck Driver operates Class A air-braked equipped combination vehicles to and from Retail and Donation sites in a safe and efficient manner.

Salary: $25.75 per hour

Schedule

This position works 4/10s (Four, 10-hour work days).

Responsibilities

• Drives diesel powered tractor with 27’ or 53’ trailer between distribution center, retail stores and donation centers.
• Backs up trailer to loading dock.
• Places stairs against the back of the trailer to load items into trailer.
• May place chains on tires in snowy weather.
• No touch freight.
• Class B transport of compactors and dumpsters to landfill or transfer station.
• Complete daily pre/post trip inspections and maintenance checks; ensures that all aspects of vehicle operation and material handling are done according to proper safety procedures.
• Responsible for vehicle’s equipment and for reporting repair needs.
• Adheres to all Goodwill and FMCSA safety regulations; reports all safety hazards, incidents, and accidents immediately.
• Build and maintain good rapport and relationships with customers and clients.
