Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Driving company vehicles, including 1 ton dump truck with trailer, 1 ton dually with trailer, and a semi with a 53-foot trailer, complying with company policies.
- Completing Department of Transportation logs and paperwork accurately.
- Unloading and loading materials into and out of trucks.
- Lifting objects or materials weighing 60+ pounds and using hand tools and small power tools.
- Performing other relevant duties as assigned and assisting other skilled trade workers in their performance.
Education, Experience & Qualifications Required
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience driving a stake truck with manual transmission and air-brakes.
- Experience in the construction industry and with electronic log books preferred.
- A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and chauffeur endorsement preferred.
Travel
Travel is required for this position, with the possibility of up to 4 weeks at a time. RAM will compensate an employee with a $50 per diem each day for daily food allowance.
