DOT Laborer

About the role

This position requires a minimum education level of High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Prior experience driving a stake truck with manual transmission and air-brakes required. Experience in the construction industry and with electronic log books preferred. The employee is required to have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Chauffeur Endorsement Preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Driving company vehicle- must comply with company vehicle policies. Vehicles include 1 ton dump truck with trailer, 1 ton dually with trailer and a semi with a 53 foot trailer.
• Completing Department of Transportation logs and paperwork accurately.
• Unloading/loading of materials into and out of trucks.
• Lifting objects or materials weighing 60+ pounds and possible usage of hand tools and small power tools.
• Performing other relevant duties as assigned and assisting other skilled trade workers (caulking, waterproofing, etc.) in their performance.

Qualifications

• This position requires a minimum education level of High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Travel

Travel is required for this position, the employee must be willing to travel for up to 4 weeks at a time. RAM will compensate a $50 per diem each day for daily food allowance.
