DOT Driver / Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

QuestMark, a division of CentiMark Corporation, is the nation's largest self-performing flooring contractor and the leading provider of polished concrete, epoxy, urethane, and exterior coatings for pedestrian and vehicle spaces in the industrial, commercial, and retail markets. This dual-role position combines DOT driving and maintenance mechanics, requiring a versatile individual to repair specialized flooring equipment and safely transport materials to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform mechanical and electronic repairs on small engines and specialized flooring equipment (scrubbers, grinders, burnishers, etc.).
• Operate medium-duty trucks and 16 ft flatbeds to transport equipment and material; tow trailers as needed.
• Assist in receiving, purchasing, warehousing, and distributing materials; load and unload trucks manually and via powered industrial equipment.
• Adhere to all OSHA, DOT, and company policies; maintain accurate work orders and follow up on results.
• Perform warehouse duties and mechanical repairs when not driving.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of medium-duty truck driving experience.
• Prior experience with small engine and electrical systems.
• Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and pre-employment drug screen.
• Willingness to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities for electronic repairs and capacity to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay

$24+ per hour (dependent upon experience).
