Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current DOT certification and Medical Certification cards required.
Minimum 3 years of driving experience with a clean motor vehicle record.
Ability to drive box and flatbed trucks with manual and automatic transmissions.
Knowledge of air brake systems.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. using proper technique.
Forklift certification preferred.
Flexibility for second-shift work as needed.
Strong verbal communication skills; ability to represent Shepherd professionally at every stop.
Familiarity with Richmond-area routes preferred.
Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screening requirements.
Compensation Details
The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $24.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and life insurance, prescription drug coverage, paid vacation and personal time, and a 401(k) with employer match. Additional Information
Steel toed boots required.
CDL not required, but must pass DOT medical exam.
