Dosimetrist - Radiation
This position is full-time and will work 8-hour day shifts.
About the role
Under the direction of the Director/Manager and clinical oversight of the Physicist, and with latitude for independent judgment, ensures precise and accurate treatment plans, dose calculations, and dosimetry considerations for patients undergoing radiation therapy. Assists the physicist in calculating dosages for brachytherapy procedures. Acts in compliance with Federal, State, and Joint Commission standards. Performs duties under minimum supervision.

Responsibilities
- Ensure precise and accurate treatment plans, dose calculations, and dosimetry considerations for radiation therapy patients.
- Assist the physicist in calculating dosages for brachytherapy procedures.
- Act in compliance with Federal, State, and Joint Commission standards.
Requirements
- Must meet the education requirements of the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB) for Certified Medical Dosimetrists (CMDs).
- National Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certification from the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board upon hire.
- 3 years of experience working as an ARRT or CRT licensed technologist.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year as a Certified Dosimetrist.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $74.17 - $117.10 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
