• Perform expert installation and servicing of commercial and residential entry doors, encompassing a variety of tasks such as installing hollow metal frames, hollow metal doors, wood doors, and associated door hardware for diverse applications.
• Conduct thorough inspections of installation sites, carefully reviewing work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to accurately assess material needs and determine optimal installation procedures.
• Use the Door Hardware Schedule to verify installation of materials meets the guidelines specified and communicate to your supervisor any discrepancies.
• Cultivate a positive customer service image through proficient service practices, maintaining a professional appearance, and engaging in effective communication with all clients.
• Operate in a safety-conscious manner at all times while performing job duties, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Education And Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and move heavy objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and work on your feet for extended periods.
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating machinery and tools.
Ability to work in a noisy and sometimes dusty environment typical of metal fabrication shops.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and perform tasks that may require reaching overhead or working in confined spaces.
Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for safety reasons.

Travel Requirements

Some day travel to and from job sites required.
