We’re currently seeking a Door Technician to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Install commercial doors, frames, locks, panic devices, and aluminum storefront systems
  • Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications, local building codes, and safety standards
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic door and hardware issues
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure doors and hardware operate safely and smoothly
  • Communicate clearly with customers to understand needs and explain work performed
  • Deliver professional, courteous service on every job
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets Acme’s quality standards
  • Accurately complete work orders and service documentation
  • Follow all safety protocols and job-site requirements
  • Use proper PPE and maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
  • Work closely with fellow technicians and project teams
  • Participate in training and team meetings to stay current on best practices

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in door installation, repair, or related field
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfort working indoors, outdoors, and occasionally at heights
  • Ability to kneel, crouch, stand, and perform physical tasks for extended periods

Skills
