Responsibilities

• Assembling and fabricating prepared components into pre-hung door units according to the prescribed work order.
• Two main components of the job are prepping and assembling.
• Prepping in this role includes preparing materials or merchandise for assembly by gathering prescribed materials from stock using forklifts, hand trucks, and rolling carts.
• Prepping in this role includes preparing materials or merchandise for assembly by setting materials in designated areas for packaging.
• Assembling in this role includes machining and/or assembling various millwork products by operating machinery that alters the product.
• Assembling in this role includes machining and/or assembling various millwork products by staging products in preparation for shipment.
• Assembling in this role includes machining and/or assembling various millwork products by resizing/cutting jambs to the proper size as per the work order and sizing chart.
• Assembling in this role includes machining and/or assembling various millwork products by correctly handing all jambs and staging them in the designated manufacturing area.
