Responsibilities

• Check identifications of all guests to ensure they are 21 years of age or older;
• Enforce appropriate dress code of guests while in bar;
• Respond to confrontational or combative situation and be able to diffuse the tension in a positive manner in accordance with Silver Legacy Security Department policies & procedures.
• Answer questions from guests regarding Silver Legacy or the surrounding area to the best of your ability;

Qualifications

• Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures;
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information;
• Ability to diffuse confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner;
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English;
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment;
• High School diploma or equivalent;

Additional Requirements

• Requires seldom sitting, bending, reaching, crouching, kneeling, crawling, pushing/pulling;
• Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols, perform complex tasks, simple reading, math and complex writing skills;
• Requires the ability to see things spatially and with form, perform clerical functions, compile, coordinate, analyze and synthesize information;
• Requires the ability to supervise, instruct others, follow instructions, influence others, meet time requirements, memorize, problem solve, use independent judgment and decision making skills;
• Requires communicating by two-way radio and telephone in English.
