About the role

Festival Foods is a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to community service and guest satisfaction. This role is within the Bakery Department, focusing on donut preparation and service.

Responsibilities

• Provide helpful service to guests through friendly greetings and assistance.
• Mix, fry, and decorate donuts according to recipes and department standards.
• Enhance sales by creating visually appealing and delicious donuts.
• Minimize waste by following production lists and recipes accurately.
• Offer assistance by helping guests find items, take orders, and address inquiries.
• Contribute to department goals by assisting in other areas as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness by organizing and cleaning work areas, shelving, and the sales floor.
• Adhere to food safety protocols by maintaining food safety logs and ensuring all quality standards are met.
• Ensure adherence to work schedule and provide adequate notice for absences.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Standing for extended periods (80%), lifting up to 50 pounds (70%), frequent exposure to moving machinery (80%), occasional exposure to extreme temperatures (20%), repetitive motion of hands and wrists (90%), and frequent exposure to hot grease (90%).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety requirements and company policies.
• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel.

Skills

• Attention to detail for accurate donut preparation and decoration.
• Customer service skills for handling guest inquiries and requests.
• Physical stamina for standing and lifting.

Pay

$10 - $12 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

The Donut Fryer/Finisher position may be part-time or full-time, with work schedules including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility for evenings or overnight shifts as needed.
