Position Summary
The Donor Relations Coordinator works under the direction of the Donor Relations Director in providing assistance to current and potential donors, relationship building with internal and external constituents, and collaborating with Foundation team members.
- Become well-versed in hospital services and amenities offered.
- Provide administrative support to Donor Relations team.
- Provide tours and collateral packets to prospective and existing donors.
- Able to write, edit and produce professional correspondence and communications.
- Provide high quality donor experience with empathetic problem-solving resolutions.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, establish priorities and maintain flexibility.
- Maintain accurate and consistent entries to database.
- Maintain calendars for Donor Relations team, including setting appointments and making specific meeting arrangements.
- Prepare monthly expense reports.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Must be detailed-oriented and able to work well both individually and as part of a team.
- Participates in monthly call rotation.
- Supports Special projects and events.
- Performs other Duties as assigned.
Education
Bachelor's degree in communications, hospitality, English or related field preferred.
Experience / Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hospitality, sales, or relationship building in a non-profit environment, healthcare environment.
- Must have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and superior organizational skills.

- Threshold Requirements: Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation. TB/PPD Surveillance Program Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
