Responsibilities

As a Donor Care Specialist, you'll play a vital role in all aspects of blood collections and donor screenings, while providing a safe and pleasant experience for our volunteer donors at our mobile blood drives or fixed sites across the Rock River Valley region. No previous phlebotomy experience is needed. We offer on-the-job training to motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow with us.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma/GED required
• CNA and clinical and/or blood collection experience is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
• Enjoy working with the public

Schedule

Full time (30 plus hours per week). This position will be regularly scheduled Monday – Thursday and alternating Friday/Saturday rotation. Upon request, plan to travel to any site or mobile location throughout the work week based on staffing needs and demands.

Pay

Hourly wage for this position begins at $18.50/hr and includes an additional $1.50/hr float differential. Bilingual is a plus and offers a pay increase after completion of training.
