Donor Acquisition Specialist- Dairy Ashford

About the role

The Donor Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting Goodwill Houston's mission by accepting donations from the public at Attended Donation Centers (ADCs), ensuring that all transactions are conducted with excellence and adherence to Goodwill's policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet each donor with a cheerful disposition and perform GRATIS procedures.
• Sort and process donations, maintaining accurate records and issuing completed donation receipts.
• Communicate effectively with immediate manager, Transportation Department, and other key leadership personnel.
• Aid in the maintenance of production supplies and assist with loading/unloading donations and equipment.
• Contribute to the security and safety of Goodwill Houston team members and property.
• Report all work incidents and injuries immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interaction skills with various personalities.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Reliable transportation.

Pay
