About the role
Our Donations Sorters/Pricers are the “face of Goodwill” to the donors who make our work possible. They are team-oriented, friendly, and go out of their way to help donors, able to lift incoming donations (up to 50 lbs.) and evaluate and price merchandise appropriately. We seek individuals who make work a priority and enjoy meeting high expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greeting donors and unloading donated goods.
- Providing friendly and informed customer service to donors, assisting with receipts.
- Maintaining a safe and neat work environment, taking pride in the efficiency of their area.
- Cross-training in cash register operations, hanging/inspecting/tagging textile & clothing in a production-style setting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Production or similar experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.
- Availability to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.
Pay
$15 per hour.
Schedule
Stores are open Monday through Saturday 10am to 8pm, and 11am to 6pm on Sundays. Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially on evenings and weekends.
