About the role
As a Donation Specialist, you'll become an essential part of our team, providing top-notch customer service and efficiently managing donations.
- Inspect, accept, track, and sort donations to ensure all donations find their way to the right place.
- Provide an outstanding customer experience by greeting donors and lending a hand when needed.
- Operate power equipment safely to organize and store donated goods.
- Categorize and sort merchandise, keeping things organized by ensuring quality and value.
- Load and unload materials to help prepare donations.
- Process donations throughout the day, keeping the donation site organized and efficient.
Requirements
- Mathematical and literacy skills with a solid grasp of math and reading.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive and friendly attitude to create a fantastic work environment.
- Clear background check to meet agency standards and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Prior experience or certification in light manufacturing, processing, or warehouse work.
- Experience with thrift or used goods processing.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, or similar qualification).

Pay
$15.25 - $17.00/hr (D.O.E)
