About the role

As a Donation Specialist, you'll become an essential part of our team, providing top-notch customer service and efficiently managing donations.

  • Inspect, accept, track, and sort donations to ensure all donations find their way to the right place.
  • Provide an outstanding customer experience by greeting donors and lending a hand when needed.
  • Operate power equipment safely to organize and store donated goods.
  • Categorize and sort merchandise, keeping things organized by ensuring quality and value.
  • Load and unload materials to help prepare donations.
  • Process donations throughout the day, keeping the donation site organized and efficient.

Requirements

  • Mathematical and literacy skills with a solid grasp of math and reading.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive and friendly attitude to create a fantastic work environment.
  • Clear background check to meet agency standards and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Prior experience or certification in light manufacturing, processing, or warehouse work.
  • Experience with thrift or used goods processing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, or similar qualification).

Pay

$15.25 - $17.00/hr (D.O.E)
